About Connected Paths

The gap between AI
strategy and results.

Connected Paths is an AI transformation consultancy. We work with CEOs of established businesses to identify where AI creates real leverage — and then implement it in a way that actually produces results.

Most of the AI conversation right now is happening at the strategy level. That conversation is useful, but it is not the hard part. The hard part is getting from that conversation to something working inside your business.

“That is the gap we exist to close.”

What we do

We start with your business, not a tool.

We are not a technology company. We are a business partner who uses AI as the engine. That means we do not arrive with a preferred tool or a fixed framework. We look at the processes that are slowing you down, the decisions that take too long, the growth levers that are not being pulled — and we work out where AI can make a real difference.

Then we help you build it, measure it, and make sure your team is using it as a genuine part of how the business runs, not as a bolt-on.

We work with CEOs of established businesses — companies with real customers, real revenue, and real operational complexity.

Founder

Founded by Riaz Kanani.

Riaz has spent two decades at the intersection of data, technology, and business growth.

He has built and scaled products used by businesses across the UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific — including leading the expansion of Silverpop, the marketing automation platform later acquired by IBM. Before that, he served as COO of Profusion, a data science consultancy, where he scaled the team from 15 to over 100 people and tripled revenue within 24 months. He went on to build Radiate B2B, an intent data and B2B advertising platform. In 2025 he built the first LinkedIn Ads MCP Server, putting AI-powered advertising analysis directly into the hands of practitioners.

He was nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year by the Inclusive Tech Alliance in 2019.

How do you take something genuinely useful and make it work inside a real business, with real constraints, at real scale?

That is the through-line across all of it. And it is the question Connected Paths is built around.

How we work

Structured to leave you in a better position.

We are not structured for long retainers and ongoing dependency. We are structured to get something working, transfer the capability, and leave you in a better position than we found you.

01
Clarity

A structured look at your business, your systems, and where AI can create the most impact. You leave knowing exactly what to do first and why.

02
Embed

Redesigning the processes where AI can make the biggest difference, and building it in properly rather than bolting it on.

03
Activation

Making sure you and your team are using AI confidently as part of how the business runs — not something that lives in a separate workstream and quietly gets abandoned.

FAQ

Questions CEOs ask before working with us.

What is AI implementation consulting?

Most businesses have heard enough about what AI can do. The gap is between that and actually doing it — in a way that changes how the business operates, not just how one person works. AI implementation consulting is the work of closing that gap: identifying where AI creates real leverage in your business, sequencing it correctly, and building the capability to sustain it. The strategy part is relatively easy. Making it work in practice, with real systems and real people, is where most efforts stall.

What's the difference between AI strategy and AI implementation?

An AI strategy tells you what to do. Implementation is doing it. The distinction matters because most consultancies are set up to deliver the former — a document, a roadmap, a set of recommendations — and then hand it back. The work of actually changing how a business operates is harder and messier, and it requires someone who stays close to it. Connected Paths does not produce AI strategies as a standalone deliverable. We work with the team, in the business, until the change is embedded.

What does an AI consultant actually do?

Depends on the stage. Early on, the work is diagnostic — understanding where the business spends time, where decisions are made slowly, where quality is inconsistent. From that you get a clear picture of where AI creates leverage and where it does not. Then it's execution: selecting tools, building or adapting workflows, working with whoever manages your systems, and making sure the people using the new processes actually use them. Later the work shifts toward measurement — what changed, what the result is, where to go next.

Who do you typically work with?

CEOs and founders of established businesses — typically professional services firms and B2B technology companies between £5m and £50m revenue. Usually at a point where AI is clearly relevant but the path is not clear: too much noise, not enough signal, and an internal team that has started experimenting without a coherent plan. We do not work with early-stage startups or businesses that are primarily looking for a tool recommendation.

How long does AI implementation take?

The first meaningful results — a workflow that is faster, a process that no longer requires manual handling, a team that has changed how they work — typically arrive within 8 to 12 weeks. Embedding AI across a business, to the point where it is self-sustaining and genuinely changes the numbers, is usually a 6 to 12 month process. The honest answer is that it depends on how complex the business is, how many systems are involved, and how much the team is ready to change. We can give you a clearer timeline after an initial conversation.

How much does AI implementation cost?

Engagements typically run between £3,000 and £15,000 per month, depending on scope and depth of involvement. Some businesses start with a defined diagnostic and action plan; others move straight into implementation. The right shape depends on where you are starting from. If cost is a question, the better starting point is whether the return justifies it — which is something we can talk through before any commitment.

How is this different from working with a large consultancy?

Large consultancies are structured to deliver at scale — which means standardised frameworks, rotating teams, and recommendations that are defensible rather than tailored. The work that gets delivered is often good. The gap is in execution: a big firm will not sit with your operations manager for three weeks making sure a new workflow actually sticks. Connected Paths is built around a different model — smaller, more direct, and set up to stay with the work until it produces a result, not until the engagement ends.

Do you work with businesses outside London?

Yes. Most of the work happens remotely, with occasional in-person sessions for the things that benefit from it — workshops, presentations, working sessions with senior teams. We are London-based and work across the UK, with some international engagements where the fit is right.
