Mobile Apps Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Connected Paths International Ltd handles data in our mobile app SpeedSolve: GCSE Maths.

1. Overview

SpeedSolve: GCSE Maths is a maths practice app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is handled.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data You Provide Directly

We do not require account sign-up and do not ask for personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or postal address to use core app features.

2.2 Data Processed and Stored on Your Device

The app stores gameplay and progress data locally on your device, including:

  • Sprint and tunnel results
  • Streaks and performance stats
  • Topic progress and review history
  • App preferences/settings

2.3 Crash and Diagnostics Data (Firebase Crashlytics)

To maintain app reliability, we collect limited diagnostics through Firebase Crashlytics, including:

  • Crash logs and stack traces
  • Diagnostic metadata (for example app version, OS version, device model, and session context)
  • Crashlytics installation identifiers used for crash reporting
  • Developer-defined diagnostic context keys (for example feature flow, mode, screen, and error context)

We do not use Crashlytics data for advertising personalization.

3. How We Use Data

We use data to:

  • Run app features
  • Save your progress
  • Investigate crashes and fix bugs
  • Improve app stability and performance
  • Generate share images only when you choose to share

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

Data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf:

  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google): processes crash and diagnostics data so we can monitor and fix reliability issues.

If you use the in-app Share feature, the content you choose is sent to the app or service you select.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Local progress data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.
  • Crash and diagnostics data retention is managed by Firebase Crashlytics under Google/Firebase policies.
  • You can clear local app data from Android settings.

6. Security

  • Data sent to Firebase Crashlytics is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS).
  • We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data handled by the app.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is designed for GCSE learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal data (for example access, deletion, or objection). Contact us using the details below for privacy requests.
